ASUS opens new ROG concept store in Gilmore, Quezon City and unveils new products

ASUS Republic of Gamers formally opens its sixth and newest ROG concept store in the country in the center of DIY PC Market – Gilmore, Quezon City.

ROG Gilmore features the latest components, monitors, laptops, routers, peripherals, and accessories. The store will provide up-to-date ROG products for its customers. Gamers and customers of the store are able to test the products first before getting the product and will regularly update their demo products.

The also features a ROG brand wall where most of ROG’s core products can be seen. Like the demo units, these displayed products will also be updated as new products come into the market.

In the newly opened store, they also unveiled new products that will be available in the third quarter of this year. These are the new ROG Swift PG35VQ, ROG Strix Scope, and the ROG Strix Carry.

The ROG Swift PG35VQ is a gaming monitor that features a 35-inch ultra-wide QHD (3440×1440) resolution HDR panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 200Hz refresh rate and 2ms response time. It has full array local dimming (FALD) LED backlighting that’s dynamically controlled across 512 zones, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits in each zone with DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and NVIDIA G-Sync Ultimate technology. In addition, it also comes with Smart Fan Control that ensures optimized cooling and quiet operation by dynamically controlling the fan speed based on thermal requirements.

The ROG Strix Scope, on the other hand, is a mechanical keyboard equipped with Cherry MX RGB switches. It features Xccurate design which makes the Ctrl key two times wider to benefit first-person-shooters (FPS) gamers. Beside the premium ROG slash design on the aluminum top plate and Aura-Sync compatibility. ROG added a new Stealth key which instantly hide all apps and mute any sound immediately. It also comes with four additional sliver-hued WASD keycaps for customization and a keycap puller tool for easy keycap removal.

Lastly, the ROG Strix Carry is a pocket-sized wireless gaming mouse that delivers up to 400+ hours of battery life. It’s equippied with 50-millino click replaceable Omron switches and a high-performance Pixart PMW 330 optical sensor with up to 7,200 DPI.

The ROG Swift PG35VQ will be available for PHP 171,120. The ROG Strix Scope will be available for PHP 7,890. The ROG Strix Carry is priced at PHP 3,590. The three new ROG products will available in the third quarter.

The final announcement made at the opening is the launch of the ROG Elite program. Fans of the brand can now collect participation points in exchange for exclusive ROG items.
