Earn League tokens, emotes, and skins by watching the Overwatch League on Twitch

Stage 2 of Overwatch League Season 1 kicked off today, and there’s no reason not to watch it if you’re an Overwatch fan! Not only will you be able to watch the best of the best battle it out in-game, you can also earn emotes, skins, and League tokens for your favorite Overwatch League team — provided you watch the games on Twitch.

Blizzard’s partnership with Twitch does not only cover broadcasting of the Overwatch League games, as it also extends to in-game content. Overwatch players who link their Battle.net account to their Twitch accounts are able to earn League token when watching Overwatch League games (you can link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts here).

At the end of every final map per match, viewers who linked their accounts will receive one League token; and a lucky few will receive 100 tokens, enough to buy one Overwatch League team skin for a hero.

The viewer rewards are available for players only in a select few countries as of the moment (not including the Philippines). Though the feature will probably  be supported in more countries in the future.

The rewards don’t end there, as viewers who use Twitch’s paid Cheer function during the games can receive exclusive hero emotes for Twitch chat. Viewers unlock these said emotes through a cheering progress tracker.

Every Cheer by viewers is also tracked, and more cheers mean faster unlocks for new Overwatch League skins. These skins will be a timed exclusive for cheerers.

The Twitch Overwatch League rewards are available for players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
