Game Con Philippines 2018: A gaming convention for all gamers
POSTED BY Ram Ronquillo ON February 11, 2018
The second year of Game Con Philippines is underway and looks to continue to bring together different gamers from the metro and the country. The convention has table top games, card games, arcade games, and of course video games.

Three games that stand out are Magic the Gathering, League of Legends, and the classic Dungeons and Dragons. All three of which are playable in the convention floor. Albeit, there are at most two tables for Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), the convention still brings the classic table top role-playing game to a wider audience. Regardless if you get to play or not, being able to watch a campaign happen before your very eyes is quite an experience on its own. D&D has grown even more into popularity due to the highly popular Netflix series, Stranger Things.

Along with these, a Dance Dance Revolution competition will be played today with a total of PHP 3000 worth of Quantum Gift Certificate at stake.

Attendees can also try out the various indie games featured by the College of Saint Benilde and the International Gaming Developers Association (IGDA) and attend workshops which will be held throughout the day.
Today is the last day of Game Con Philippines 2018 at the Megatrade Hall 2, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City and tickets are being sold at PHP 170.
