Here are the must-watch games for Week 2 of the Overwatch League

Season 1 of the Overwatch League resumes tomorrow, January 18 for the games of week 2. If the previous week is anything to go by, then week 2 should give fans even more exciting Overwatch action and rave-worthy highlights!

Like week 1, the second week has a total of twelve games. Though only a few fans are likely able to watch all twelve games, as most of us are surely busy with either work or school. If you’re not sure which games to watch, then here’s a list of matches that you shouldn’t miss.

Dallas Fuel vs. Houston Outlaws

The second day of week 2 will be opened by a Texas showdown between Dallas Fuel and Houston Outlaws. While both teams currently have 0-2 records, their lineups have tons of potential, meaning viewers should be in for a treat of high-level Overwatch play.

This match’s highlight potential is not the only reason why this game is a must-watch. Both teams have immensely passionate fan bases which raises the game’s stakes; Fuel and Outlaws are owned by CoD rivals Team EnVyUs and OpTic Gaming respectively. Will the Boys in Blue take their first win of the League, or will the Green Wall prove too much to handle? We’ll find out on this Jan. 19 at 6:00am.

New York Excelsior vs. Los Angeles Valiant

The Korean lineup of New York Excelsior may have flew slightly under the radar compared to Seoul Dynasty and London Spitfire. But one thing’s for sure, fans have NYXL on their minds thanks to their impressive showings in week 1. I mean, who can forget Pine’s out-of-this-world McCree play on Ilios?

For week 2, NYXL will face-off against Los Angeles Valiant. Consisting of players from the former Rogue lineup, and complemented by equally great players, LA Valiant impressed in their Season 1 debut, as they convincingly defeated San Francisco Shock and even fan-favorites Dallas Fuel 4-0 and 3-0 respectively.

Both teams are 2-0 coming into week 2, and only one team will continue the winning streak. Will it be the all-Korean squad of NYXL take the win, or will LA Valiant emerge victorious? Find out in their game on January 19 at 8:00am.

London Spitfire vs. Dallas Fuel

The teams with all-Korean squads —┬áNew York Excelsior, Seoul Dynasy, and London Spitfire dominated Week 1. While almost all their matches were fairly one-sided, Seoul Dynasty did have trouble dispatching Dallas Fuel.

Fuel was the only team to have a close match against a Korean team, which makes their match against London Spitfire a must-watch. Whoever wins, the game will likely provide exciting Overwatch action, if the Dynasty vs. Fuel match is anything to go by.

Catch the London Spitfire vs. Dallas Fuel match this January 20 at 12:00pm.
