The Kuala Lumpur Major (KL Major), the first major tournament of the 2018-2019 Dota Pro Circuit season, is well underway. The group stage concluded yesterday and determined the placement of the 16 teams in the Main Event’s bracket.

As expected, Team Secret, Evil Geniuses, PSG.LGD, and Virtus.pro, all topped their respective groups, placing them in the Upper Bracket. They’ll be facing the second placers of each group, including Ninjas in Pyjamas, Vici Gaming, Fnatic, and Alliance, during the first round of the upper bracket.

On the other end of the spectrum, the bottom two teams from each group will face off in a do-or-die best-of-one series for the first round of the lower bracket. The lower bracket teams include PaiN Gaming, J.Storm, Team Aster, TNC Predator, Tigers, Gambit Esports, Forward Gaming, and PaiN X.

Here’s the full bracket for the Main Event of the Kuala Lumpur Major:

The Main Event of the Kuala Lumpur Major will run from November 11 to 18, with the Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals happening on the last day. The prize pool for the tournament is set at USD 1,000,000 (~PHP 53 Million) along with a DPC points pool of 15,000.
