Lenovo Legion adds four new devices with latest processors and graphics cards

Lenovo has just announced four new devices to beef up its gaming brand, Legion. These are the Ideapad L340 Gaming, Legion Y540, Legion Y740, and the Legion T530.

The new devices will come with the latest hardware from Intel and NVIDIA. This includes 9th generation processors from Intel and GTX 16-series and RTX series from NVIDIA. Having these make the new devices from Lenovo Legion powerful enough to run modern games and livestream.

In addition to being powered by the latest hardware, all four devices will have a standard minimum of 8GB RAM.

While the Legion notebooks will have a 15.6” FHD IPS slim bezel display, with the Legion Y549 also having 144Hz support. The notebooks will also come with 2-Year Premium Care out of the box support. This entails services like 24/7 support from the company’s senior tech resources, on-site warranty, and Zero Tolerance to Dead Pixel Service.

The Ideapad L340 Gaming comes in two variants but at its core comes with an NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics card with 4GB of VRAM and 8GB RAM. It has a blue backlit keyboard and weighs in at 2.2kg.

The first of the two Ideapad L340 Gaming comes with:

  • Intel Core i5-9300H processor
  • NVIDIA GTX 1650 with 4GB VRAM
  • 8GB RAM
  • 1TB storage

It will be available for PHP 49,995.

 

The more powerful of the two comes with:

  • Intel Core i5-9300H processor
  • NVIDIA GTX 1650 with 4GB VRAM
  • 8GB RAM
  • 1TB + 128GB SSD

This variant of the Ideapad L340 Gaming will be available for PHP 59,995.

 

The Legion Y540 comes in three variants each with their own hardware and price points. The three variants have a white backlit keyboard and weigh in at 2.3kg.

The first of the variants has:

  • Intel Core i5-9300H processor
  • NVIDIA GTX 1650 with 4GB VRAM
  • 8GB RAM
  • 512GB SSD storage

It is priced at PHP 69,995.

 

The second of which has:

  • Intel Core i7-9750H processor
  • NVIDIA GTX 1660Ti with 6GB VRAM
  • 8GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD storage

This variant will be available for PHP 89,995.

 

The third and final variant comes with:

  • Intel Core i7-9750H processor
  • NVIDIA RTX 2060 with 6GB RAM
  • 16GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD storage

The most powerful of the Legion Y540 laptops will be available for PHP 99,995.

 

The Legion Y740 was initially announced during the inauguration of the first Legion Concept store at SM City North EDSA. The Legion Y740 has a G-Sync Panel, all aluminum chassis, Thunderbolt 3 port, and RGB keyboard. It also weighs in at 2.2kg and is thinner at 19.95mm.

The Legion Y740 will come in one variant that comes with:

  • Intel Core i7-9750H processor
  • NVIDIA RTX 2060 with 6GB VRAM
  • 16GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD

It will be priced at PHP 119,995.

 

Last, but definitely not the least, is the Legion T530 which is Lenovo’s return to the desktop gaming market. The gaming desktop computer has:

  • Intel Core i7-9700 processor
  • NVIDIA RTX 2060 with 6GB VRAM
  • 16GB RAM
  • 16GB VRAM

This will be available for PHP 89,995.

The four Legion devices will be hitting authorized Lenovo authorized resellers nationwide starting June.

The company also has a Lenovo back-to-school Promo which runs from May 11 to June 30. Buying the Legion Y740 will come with a Legion Y gaming headset, Legion M200 gaming mouse, and Legion K200 gaming keyboard worth PHP 10,000. While those that purchase the Legion Y540 will be given the Legion M200 gaming mouse and Legion K200 gaming keyboard worth PHP 7,000.
