LoL Worlds 2018: Eight Teams Left for Play-In Stage Knockouts

The League of Legends World 2018 Championship, also known as LoL Worlds 2018, has officially begun with its Play-In Group Stage earlier this week where 12 teams fought to be one of the eight teams to advance to the Play-In Knockouts.

The twelve teams that advanced into the Play-in Group Stage qualified through various tournaments around the world. The twelve teams were divided into four groups and followed a Double Round Robin, Best-of-One format.

The top two teams from each of the group advance into the Play-In Knockouts, making for a total of eights teams for the Knockouts. The top seed from one group will then be paired against the second seed of another to determine who will advance to the main event Group Stage.

The Play-In Knockouts will follow a best-of-five format and will run from October 6 to 7, 2018. Here are the eight teams, their respective pairings, and schedule for the LoL Worlds 2018 Play-In Knockouts:

Oct. 7, 2018 (12:00 PM) – G2 Esports vs Infinite Esports
