Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines Back for Season 2

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Philippines is coming back for its second season. Qualifiers are set to begin immediately on September 8-9, 2018 where the top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams in the nation will be competing for a prize pool of USD 100, 000!

In a press conference held Thursday, Moonton, the creators of the game, announced that  Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League-Philippines (MPL) is coming back for another exciting Season with MPL Season 2.

The first professional league for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang promises to deliver more intense mobile MOBA action as the best teams in the nation collide in an epic showdown of talent and skill. The battle begins in September when the MPL Online Qualifiers will take place. The first of which will begin on September 8th-9th; then again on the 22-23; with the final qualifier on the 29th-30th.

The MPL Regular Season will commence soon after on October 27, 2018 and go on until December 9, 2018. Once there, all participating teams will tank, gank and battle their way into the Grand Finals where the top 8 teams will fight for Mobile Legends supremacy.

That’s not all they’ll be fighting for though. Teams that will participate in the MPL Season 2 will be contending for the prize pool of a whopping USD 100,000! The prize pool will also be subjected to a feature called the MPL Carnival which will add bonus rewards.

Moonton has promised to clarify and release additional information about the MPL Carnival as well as the date and venue of the MPL Season 2 Grand Finals soon. Interested fans would do well to follow their Facebook Page for further updates.

Logan Shaw, Moonton Tournament Director invites players and fans to “Be legendary together!”

At the press conference, Moonton Tournament Director Logan Shaw stated that he hopes to make Mobile Legends Bang Bang an even bigger household name than it already is. He invited all fans and players from across the Philippines to come and chase their dreams to be an esports legend and he hopes that that journey starts with the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Professional League.

He states:

 “The Philippines is already our 2nd largest market in the world. We will be organizing more tournaments in the future for our Filipino fans. Let’s be legendary together!”
