100 Thieves unveiled their first players on Twitter and it looks good on paper.
One of the newest teams to join the franchised North American League of Legends Championship Series, revealed that they have signed Korean top laner Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho, North American jungler William “Meteos” Hartman, and Korean mid laner Yoo “Ryu” Sang-wook.

Meteos and Ryu played alongside each other when they played with Phoenix1 in the 2017 Season. Prior to that, Meteos made his name as a reliable and formidable jungler with Cloud9. While Ryu made his name back in Korea playing for KT Rolster Bullets before moving to Europe and playing with H2k-Gaming.
Ssumday was a mainstay with the KT Rolster organization after playing with KT Rolster Bullets, KT Rolster Arrows, and KT Rolster before transferring to North America and playing with Team Dignitas last Split.
The South Korean top laner is better known playing carries for his teams. While Ryu has played a variety of roles on the different teams, from assassins to utility supports and control mages. Similar to the South Korean mid laner, the North American jungler has proven to be able to adjust his playstyle depending on what the team needs.
Prior to this announcement, 100 Thieves also announced that they have signed former H2k-Gaming coach Neil “pr0lly” Hammad; a return to North America since leaving to coach for the European team late 2014. Like the veteran players, pr0lly has proven to be a talented coach after being awarded the Best Coach in the 2015 EU LCS Spring Split.
The 100 Thieves roster is looking strong so far. It’s just a matter of time until they announce their AD Carry, support, and substitutes, if they decided to.
