Grammy-nominated musician and rapper Travis Scott is going to be the executive producer of NBA 2k19. The Astroworld singer will be curating all 47 songs in the NBA 2k19 soundtrack and determining which songs play in the game’s various menus. Scott joins the hallowed ranks of star musicians that have put together the soundtracks of previous 2k games. These include Pharell for 2k15; DJ Khaled for 2k16; and the legendary Jay-Z for 2k13.
Travis Scott took to instagram to announce the exciting news as well as share a short video interview with NBA Superstar, former NBA 2k14 soundtrack producer and 20th Anniversary Edition cover athlete, LeBron James.
2k has also shared this infographic containing just some of the songs that made it in the line-up. The rest can be found on the 2k’s spotify playlist for NBA 2k19
NBA 2K19 will be available on September 11, 2018 and is available for pre-order now.
