Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 is now live!

If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the return of Overwatch’s Halloween Terror (which Blizzard teased a week ago), the wait is finally over, as everyone’s favorite Halloween event is now live! And as promised, there are loads of new skins and items, along with the return of Junkenstein’s Revenge.

For this year’s Halloween Terror, Blizzard brought back Junkenstein’s Revenge, the PvE game mode loved by fans last year. While the brawl has remained unchanged from last year, there’s an additional brawl available that’s aptly named Endless Night.

As the name suggests, this brawl is an endless mode of Junkenstein’s Revenge that’s complete with more difficult zomnic enemies. Though for Endless Night, players can now choose to play as Genji, Widowmaker, Torbjorn, and Zenyatta; in addition to the original Junkenstein roster.

Skins, maps, and more!

Halloween Terror wouldn’t be complete without spooky skins, and this year’s event does not disappoint!

One of the coolest this Halloween is Zenyatta’s Cultist skin, which his very much inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos. His skin is even complete with a ton of new voice lines, some of which are downright creepy.

Not to be outdone is Symmetra with her new Dragon skin. While not as otherworldly as Zenyatta’s, this skin is equally menacing.

Mei also got some love this event with her Jiangshi skin. While the outfit looks super-cute on Mei, Jiangshis are anything but – given that they are Chinese hopping vampires.

There are a lot more skins this event, including the Van Helsing and Dracula skins teased last week; the 2016 skins are also available with sizable discounts. Of course, skins aren’t the only additions, as there are also tons of new Sprays, Emotes, and Highlight Intros.

Two maps have also been given the Halloween treatment – Hollywood and Eichenwalde. Eichenwalde is especially exciting to play on, as the map’s design is based on the lore of Junkenstein’s Revenge.

The new items can be obtained in Halloween Terror Loot Boxes, which will be available only during the event’s duration. Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 is live now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One until November 2 (PHT).
