Blizzard’s hit FPS — Overwatch is nearly two years old, but new content is still being released at a rapid pace. Just weeks after the release of the game’s 27th hero in Brigitte, the official Overwatch Twitter recently teased the return of the Overwatch Uprising event.

The first tweet last March 3o detailed the archive declassification of the King’s Row Uprising mission. The tweet is almost exactly the same as last year’s hints at the Uprising event; though eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed the slight glitch at the 12-second mark, which showed ‘file 00274.’
File 00274 may be referring to a new co-op gamemode that takes place in the King’s Row Uprising. If this year’s events are anything to go by, the Uprising event for 2018 will feature the initial co-op mode , along with a new brawl.

Just a day after, the Overwatch twitter released another video, this time they all but confirmed the return of Overwatch Uprising. So far, what’s confirmed is that the Uprising co-op brawl will be back, along with the event’s skins and other items.
For those unfamiliar with Uprising, the event centers around the King’s Row Uprising seven years before present day in-game. The Uprising co-op brawl enabled four players to play as Tracer, Torbjorn, Mercy, or Reinhardt; as they went on a mission to liberate King’s Row from Omnic enemies.
Overwatch Uprising 2018 will go live on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 11; and it will run until April 30.
