Developed by id Software, in conjunction with Saber Interactive, Quake Champions is a return to the frenetic, fast-paced competition that established Quake as the originator of the multiplayer shooter genre more than 20 years ago.
This week, Quake Champions is opening a limited trial of the unreleased free-to-play version of the game. From June 10 to June 18, anyone can download and play Quake Champions from Steam or Bethesda.net launcher for free, with access to all the maps, modes, and features. The free-to-play version comes with one starter Champion, Ranger, but players can upgrade to the Champions Pack at any time to unlock all the Champions plus additional in-game bonuses. The best part – anyone who downloads and plays this week will be able to stay and play even after the trial ends.
Quake Champions also recently launched a massive update aimed at making it faster and easier for players and friends to jump in and get good together. These new features include the addition of Bots and tutorials, upgraded leveling and reward systems, and tons of other upgrades.
