Posted by Raphael Leynes March 15, 2019

Samsung has just unveiled the new Galaxy A50, a incredible new smartphone designed for its users to live in the moment. The device features a revolutionary 3-rear camera setup, a powerful 25mp selfie camera, a decent 4000 mah battery and a whole host of other features at the affordable price point of 17,990.

In a media launch event held at Green Sun Hotel, Makati, Korean tech juggernaut, Samsung unveiled their new Galaxy A50 smartphone and its little brother the Galaxy A30. The event featured performances by Ben and Ben, and brand ambassador Liza Soberano as they entertained the crowd in attendance Wednesday night.

The Galaxy A50’s main draw is its 3-camera setup that helps take clearer and wider shots with ease and simplicity. The setup includes, the main 25MP Camera that takes great sharp looking photos even while in the dark thanks to the f/1.7 aperture. The 8MP Ultra Wide Angle camera is able to take 123° wide shots capturing more of your ideal scenery and subjects while almost mimicking the width of the human eye. Rounding out the trio is the 5MP live focus camera that creates that dynamic and professional looking Bokeh effect on pictures easily and effortlessly, which is perfect for raising your photo game.

The newest front liner from Samsung’s A line also features the all-new infinity U display on a 6.4” Super AMOLED screen which guarantees videos and photos will be displayed vividly and with more detail. The A50 also comes equipped with an on-screen fingerprint scanner that provides hassle-free intuitive unlocking with sacrificing security. The A50 also comes with a solid 4000mAh battery which should be good for a significant chunk of your day. Luckily, the device supports fast charging via USB Type C, so even if you have to plug in, you won’t need to be there for long.

The A50 also quite impressive under the hood, thanks to its 6GB RAM and its Quad Core 2.3GHz+Quad Core 1.7GHz processor.

Samsung also unveiled the A50’s more budget friendly little brother, the Galaxy A30. It has the same 6.4 Super AMOLED display but exchanges the 3-camera set up for a 2-camera setup with a 16MP main and 5MP with an ultra wide lens. In exchange for a more affordable price, the A30 also bumps down to a Dual Core 1.8GHz+Hexa 1.6GHz and 4GB RAM.

The Galaxy A50 and the A30 will be available starting March 30 2019 with the suggested retail price of PHP 17,990 and PHP 13,990 respectively
