Metal Gear Solid V & Amnesia Collection Are Free On PS Plus Right Now

On the first of October, Sony launched the month’s lineup of PlayStation Plus content. PS Plus members can download six free titles across the PlayStation ecosystem.

The biggest blockbuster of the bunch is definitely on PS4, where PS Plus subscribers can now get Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for free. The incredible final entry from legendary creator Hideo Kojima presents players with an immersive open world and top notch stealth mechanics, as you might expect from the popular Metal Gear series.

Just in time for Halloween month, MGS V is joined by the Amnesia Collection, a bundle of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. These two horror games are easily some of the best in the survival horror genre. Since released, these titles have gained a cult following and they’re definitely worth your hard drive space.

PS4 owners actually get a total of four titles this month, as both Vita games Hue and Sky Force Anniversary have cross platform support. PS3 owners, on the other hand, get a total of three titles; Cross-Buy brings them Sky Force aside from Monster Jam Battlegrounds and Hustle Kings.

PS Plus bonus free game That’s You, leaves the store on October 24; PSVR owners aren’t left behind as one of the best VR titles on Playstation, RIGS, is free until November 7.

A bonus will be introduced in October for Plus members, as they’ll receive closed beta access to Hand of the Gods, the spin-off of Smite with card game mechanics.

You can download all the free content right now through the PlayStation Store website or through your game consoles.
