Aimlab Now Has Training Regimen Specifically For Rainbow Six Siege
Posted by Raphael Leynes April 27, 2021

Aim Lab now has a specific training regimen for players of Rainbow Six Siege hoping to improve on their skills. While the free aim training companion has always had drills and tasks appropriate for a wide variety of today’s most popular first-person shooters, Aim Lab announced over the weekend that they’ll be working with Ubisfoft’s premier tactical shooter, Siege in an official capacity.

The collaboration has brought forth a huge amount of content to Aim Lab, with over 8 new drills geared towards refining R6 specific skills, like audio perception, leaning, and peeking tutorials and even partial recreations of the maps Oregon and Clubhouse to practice entry with. The complete set of new drills are as follows:

Siege AudioSpatial 45: This test trains your situational awareness through audio cues. At the start of the drill, four spheres will spawn around you 45degrees from each other and one will play an audio cue. The player must determine which one it is and shoot it.

Siege Detection Shot: This test trains your visual detection ability by spawning tiny targets of varying visibility across a Siege-like environment. Players must detect the target and shoot it before it disappears.

Siege Capacity: This test trains your visual retention in your memory by spawning a handful of orbs of different colors, before respawning with one of the orb’s colors changed. Players must determine which orb has changed color and shoot it.

Siege Lean and Peek: This test trains players in the unique leaning and peeking mechanic of Siege. Players are spawned right in front of a wall which you can peek either left or right. Targets will appear on either side of the wall and players must peek and shoot them correctly.

Siege Entry Oregon: This test trains players on how to peek common angles and hiding spots  to keep themselves safe when entering though the Siege Map, Oregon. Targets will be in common hiding spots and the player must peek and eliminate them one at a time without taking damage or walking into a crossfire.

Siege Entry Oregon 2: This is the same as the above but entering though a different spot.

Siege Entry Clubhouse: This is the same but in the Clubhouse map.

Siege C4 Arcs: This test trains one of the more high-level and frankly flashier skills which is shooting C4 out of the air. C4 will fly out in various directions at the player who must shoot it before they land.

On top of the new drills are new guns directly from Siege to shoot and practice your aim with which you can take to any of the tasks in the game. Ash’s R4-C, and Jager’s 416-C are both faithfully recreated in AimLab for optimal training and transfer of skills once you hit the actually game.
