Taipei Game Show 2020 Has Been Officially Canceled

UPDATE: The organizing committee is planning an “online business matching” event in lieu of B2B Zone and “Taipei Game Show LIVE!” to showcase the latest announcements and news.

 

Taipei Game Show 2020 is the latest major event in Asia to be canceled in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. Originally scheduled on February 6-9, 2020, the organizing committee postponed the convention to June 25-28 during the initial spread of the virus.

 

However, as the outbreak escalates further, the TGS 2020 organizing committee has officially canceled this year’s game show.

The news came in after major gaming events, concerts, and gatherings have been canceled or postponed, which includes E3 2020Tokyo Olympics 2020, Google I/O 2020, SXSW in Austin, and Nvidia’s GPU Technology Conference.
