Asus ROG and Acronym collab, ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01, is now available in the Philippines!
Posted by Donna Almonte September 28, 2020

It’s official—the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced on September 25 that the special edition (and sought-after) gaming laptop, ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01, is now available in the market at limited stocks of 15 pieces nationwide, for PHP 129,995.00.

High performance meets street aesthetics

It’s no surprise that ultraslim, 14” ROG Zephyrus G14 has already been nicknamed, “the best gaming laptop” by several gamers and tech reviewers. What sets the ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01 apart from its well-received sibling? Its aesthetic appeal. It’s ACRONYM’s first hardware design attempt for this Munich-based function-focused fashion brand with a monochromatic theme. The G14 packs powerful specs while remaining resilient and lightweight—think Photoshopping landscapes while playing The Witcher 3 on its highest settings, making it an ideal canvas for ACRONYM’s first gaming hardware design.

Keyboard caps are spray painted in pastel hues, beautiful “sakura” colored LED lights adorn the laptop cover with co-founder Errolson Hugh’s face as a dot matrix covering the lid (you can set 8 ACRONYM-designed AniMe Matrix LED display types or show off your own stuff). Very extra. And admittedly, very cool. It’s beyond my expectations for the cheesy, flashy gaming laptops I’ve seen in the past. Even as a mostly console gamer, I could see creatives like myself being tempted to shell out the big bucks for this collab.

Create and play on-the-go

Graphic designers, video editors, content creators, and gamers (or people who are a combination of all) should keep an eye out for this. Just only because this laptop is pure eye-candy, but check out the specs:

a 8-core 16-thread AMD® Ryzen 9 CPU

a potent NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX2060 GPU, which gives it the power for content creation, like editing videos or streaming (basically everything you do for work or leisure)

IPS-level display that’s PANTONE® Validated for color accuracy and boasts Adaptive Sync variable refresh rate technology (for gaming without the annoying delay when a game is just too HD)

one-of-a-kind AniMe Matrix LED display that offers gamers and creators a new platform to show off custom animations, text effects, and audio visualizers.

..all of these features jam-packed in a light, 14-inch chassis less than 20mm thin (bring it anywhere)

The ACRONYM touch

Not all collabs between two completely different industries, like big tech and fashion, work out (or are well thought out). Remember Ferrari and Jordan, which resulted in a bright red shoe that looks like something Ronald McDonald would wear? But we think Asus and Acronym pulled this off quite well, and specs weren’t sacrificed for the sake of fashion or vice-versa.

ACRONYM® applied more chic elements to an already sleek gaming laptop. The brand pushes the idea of premium gaming thanks to custom materials, etching, machining, specially developed paints, and two completely original typefaces, and exclusive programs. Boot it up and notice some “don’t open” and “delete” files that’ll make use of that mysterious brown envelope and coded paper from the box. Is it a “Golden Ticket” of sorts for the owners of this laptop around the world? Definitely curious.

With precision etchings along its sides, carbon black surfaces, striking touches, schematic markings, and iconography, everything about the ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01 seems, for the lack of a better word, seamless and highly futuristic. What’s more: the box and the unique ACRONYM® Airpak laptop sleeve is designed to be reusable and recyclable. Nice.

Thinking of lining up for one? The ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01 has been made available in the following participating stores only, for the price of PHP 129,995.00. The price isn’t a shocker considering all the consideration and high-end specs (and styling) that went into this.

Nab one of the 15 ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01 stocks in the Philippines at the following participating online platforms and ROG Concept store locations: Lazada, Shopee, SM Megamall, SM City North EDSA, SM City Cebu, SM Mall of Asia, SM City Davao, and Gilmore Commercial Plaza.
