ASUS unveils the new-age intelligent ZenFone 5 series

ASUS has just announced the fifth generation of ZenFones and boasts the newest Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The ZenFone 5 series includes three phones namely the ZenFone 5Z, ZenFone 5, and ZenFone 5Q (or internationally known as ZenFone 5 Lite). All of which has innovative full-screen designs, industry-leading Qualcomm processors, and flagship dual-camera systems.

The ZenFone 5Z and the ZenFone 5 are 6.2-inch dual-camera smartphones and are the first ZenFone models to harness the power of AI. Both feature 19:9 all-screen displays in a compact 5.5-inch body. This combination gives it the ZenFone’s first 90% screen-to-body ratio. The ZenFone 5 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 while the the ZenFone 5Z is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.

The ZenFone 5Z also benefits from the Snapdragon X20 Gigabit LTE modem which delivers speeds that surpass the gigabit barrier as well as integrated 2×2 802.11ac Wi-FI and Bluetooth 5 for ultra-low-power wireless earbuds. It all is backed by 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

While the ZenFone 5Q, is a stylish 6-inch smartphone featuring the world’s first true quad-camera system with a front and rear 120 degree wide-angle camera. It has a full HD+ IPS display and a full view 18:9 aspect ration on an ultraslim bezel. The ZenFone 5Q powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 with a 3300mAh battery. It also has triple-slot SIM/microSD card holder.

“We embarked on the ZenFone project four years ago with the idea to create empowering luxury for every to enjoy,” mentioned ASUS CEO, Jerry Shen.

The ASUS ZenFone 5Z has been announced to be priced at 479 Euros or PHP 30,631.60. The phones are said to be released in the Philippines in the second quarter of 2018.
