In a surprising turn of events, Digital Chaos announced yesterday that they have released their The International 2016 2nd placer lineup and have acquired the members of Team Onyx. Digital Chaos Co-founder Thomas Hancock revealed that the former members of Digital Chaos have mutually agreed that they will become independent players.
“The current roster and DC have mutually agreed that the time was right for them to go on and do their own thing. We’ve had massive success with that team. We wish Misery, Resolut1on, Saksa, W33, Moonmeander, Alyssa and William all the best!” wrote Thomas Hancock through Digital Chaos‘ press release.
In a similar situation, Founder and former co-owner of Digital Chaos Shannon “SUNSfan” Scotte announced that he officially left the organization last April 6. However, he mentioned that he cannot disclose any information regarding the matter. “I cannot go into details on this matter. I remain just as excited about Dota 2 and esports and will continue to pursue this passion in both current and yet to be announced projects. Thank you for your continued support,” he said.
